Thought I'd post this question up since I've actualy had all of the OSTs loaded on my iPod while at work.
Out of all the games - which one had your favorite score?
I'd have to go with Outbreak being the one I think revitalised the sooundtracks of Resident Evil - sounding the most full and with better production values.
RE2 is my all time favorite - the 'Escape' sequence at the end having a great mix of classic symhonic scoring and digital mixing. Made for a very energetic and urgent part of any of the games.

Outbreak's main theme was amazing. I don't think any Resi game has come close to beating it, but if I was to choose my favourite I'd say RE2. The main hall theme, Mother and Ada's Theme are all outstanding for the time. Timeless you could say ^_^

Outbreak has a lot of great scoring overall. I liisten to it when I write to put me in the mood. I can usually pick up a rhythm from something on the Outbreak soundtrack for any scene I write.

Hmmm, I haven't actually listened to the OST's, but Outbreak did have a pretty great soundtrack. If only they had tried a bit harder with the game...

Yeah - no kidding. It's sad that the soundtrack was the best part.

I love Resident Evil 5s theme song. I beleive it's called Pray.

I like 5 mostly for Wind of Madness the music you hear when you fight Wesker. Really great track.

Probably the save room music from REbirth. If not that, the save room music from 2.

Really tough call....I loved Zero, Code Veronica, Outbreak, and parts of RE5's soundtracks. And then two tracks from RE4. But I guess if I had to pick a favorite, it might be the ending theme of Zero. RE5's music wasn't really RE-styled, so I'm not including it. Same goes with RE4.
At least that's one thing we can always look forward to in an RE game: good music.

Agreed. As time goes on, the musical production values will only increase, especially as RE becomes more mainstream. RE5 really did a lot to push the game series into high profile status, being one of the best uses of PS3's technology. The massive scoring done for it only helped to point out how popular it had become.
Hopefully the Gold Edition will have some new and familiar sounding scores for the Spencer Estate.
